Українці за кордоном стикають з рядом труднощів кожні п’ять років. Для того аби реалізувати своє право голосу вони змушені долати сотні кілометрів дистанції, а також стояти десятки годин у чергах. Головною причиною тому – мала кількість виборчих дільниць, загалом по всьому світі їх трохи більше сотні.

Марія Гайдай вже 18 років живе і працює в Італії. За цей час їй декілька разів доводилось голосувати за межами України. І щоразу вона долала неабиякі труднощі, оскільки дільниць на всю країну було лише три.

Ukrainians abroad face a number of difficulties every five years. In order to exercise their right to vote they are forced to overcome hundreds of kilometers of distance, and also stand dozens of hours in queues. The main reason for this is the small number of polling stations, in general around the world, they are slightly more than a hundred.

Maria Gaidai has been living and working for 18 years in Italy. During this time she had to vote several times outside of Ukraine. And each time she overcame considerable difficulties, because there were only three polling stations in the whole country.

In Ukraine, you are invited, asked to come to the polling station, which is usually quite close. And abroad you must strive to realize your electoral right, “said Maria Gaidai, a representative of the Ukrainian diaspora in Italy.{:}
